Diary Entry-We ROCKED Loch Champlain.

My instincts were correct. There’s much more to this story than meets the eye. Somehow, we ended up at Loch Champlain in 1977.

It appears the Trident is not simply capable of traveling through tunnels in the hollow earth. This craft is also capable of traveling through time! But, I suspect it can’t do it on its own.

Nessie is part of this time travel equation. If I had to guess, it looks like Nessie is the key that unlocks the door to another Loch at another time. Maybe the Trident is simply hitching a ride?

Maybe the door Nessie unlocks closes shortly after the creature swims through? Does this explain why sightings of Nessie (and/or Nessie-like creatures) are reported from all over the planet? These questions are mind bending!

If Nessie can simply swim through one of these underwater wormholes and choose a time/place, it could literally show up anywhere at anytime. It also may explain why it’s so elusive. Once it has worn out its welcome in one Loch, it can simply skip town to another one.

But, does this mean there is just ONE Nessie? That doesn’t make sense. Did I mention my mind is bending? We’ve stumbled onto something unprecedented.

I hate to admit it. But, Slade might be right. This could be much bigger than Nessie. This could be something that changes everything forever.

We traveled through TIME! Granted, we don’t know exactly how it happened or how we’ll get back home. But, the fact remains that we traveled through TIME!

My mind is not just bent, it is blown. Never could I have imagined experiencing something like this. I thought we’d simply be chatting up some folks who claimed to have seen Nessie (or some other weird aquatic creature), poring over some fuzzy, old pictures, and generally not uncovering much.

Dad’s got enough for his next bestseller. In fact, he may have enough for a few of them when all is said and done. Of course, this assumes we can find our way back home.

The way back home would seem to involve the SIREN. The frequency Pops has dialed in seems to summon Nessie and direct it towards the nearest wormhole. But, the frequency the SIREN emits seems to lack specificity.

Nessie took us to Loch Champlain in 1977. Why? Why did we arrive at this specific Loch at this specific time?

This spot must mean something to Nessie. I don’t think Nessie and Champ are one and the same. But, maybe they’re related somehow?

Perhaps Nessie comes here periodically to pay his ‘cousin’ (or brother or sister) Champ a visit? Why not? Anything is possible.

This leads me to another crazy idea. Maybe there’s a way to find Tommy. If Tommy is stuck in another place at another time, maybe Nessie (and the Trident) can help us find him!

I wouldn’t claim to know exactly how this would work. But, the SIREN might be the answer. If Pops can line up the right frequency, we might be able to pull it off.

Whoa! The trident has started to shake, rattle, and roll again. Looks like we’ve nearly reached our final destination. Time to buckle up and ride this one out!
