Diary Entry…The Haunting of Trumbull Avenue

Sebastiani Theater was a new one for me. I’ve tackled MANY haunts over the years with Mom. But, we’ve never dealt with a haunted theater. I suppose this isn’t too surprising.

You don’t often hear about tragedies happening in theaters. Consequently, you don’t often hear about ghosts haunting them. If you want to find ghosts, look for places where bad things happened.

This brings me to my current location. There’s a creepy house here Veronica wants me to check out. Pretty much every street has ONE house that creeps everyone out.

‘Creepy’ doesn’t guarantee anything, though. Most of the time, there are no secrets to be discovered. Veronica has assured me the creepy house on Trumbull Avenue between Mill and Vineyard is different.

She assures me it’s the real deal. Bad stuff happened here. Bad stuff happening doesn’t necessarily guarantee the presence of a ghost or a haunting either. But, the odds are always higher if you’re dealing with a house, venue, or location that has some dark history associated with it.

So, if you’re looking for ghosts, don’t expect to find any at Disneyland, the circus, or Chuck E. Cheese. Actually, this isn’t entirely true. There is a story of a Chuck E. Cheese (or two) that is haunted.

Whether or not there is something supernatural on Trumbull Avenue or not, I’m excited about paying Novato a visit. Tommy’s Salsa makes some mean fish tacos and with nearly 200 miles under my belt, I’m jonesing for about six of them!

But, I’m not lingering long at Trumbull Avenue. I’ve got more than a few stops left on this roadtrip and the Nur is continuing to close the gap on me.
