THE SUNSET SQUATCH HUNT!

The rules are simple:

-1)Review the ‘hints’ below regarding the various Sasquatch sightings in the Presidio.
-2)Find as many of the ‘squatches’ as you can as per the ‘hints’ below in a 60 min. period.
-3)Return to Sports Basement 60 mins. after the run begins.
-4)Furnish photo evidence (you will need your cell phone/camera) that you found the squatches and score raffle tickets.
-5)The more spots you hit during the hour, the more raffle tix you get! If you hit 3 spots, you score 1 raffle ticket. If you hit 4-6 spots, you score 2 raffle tickets. If you hit 7-9 spots, you score 3 raffle tickets. Hit ALL TEN SPOTS and you score 5 raffle tickets!

  • Rumor has it that Sassy occasionally hangs out at this recreation spot known for ‘old school fun’ despite the fact that there are no shoes that will fit his ‘big feet’.
  • Right around sunset, Sasquatch has been spotted at this iconic spot known for ‘inspiring’ views.
  • Locals allege Sassy has been spotted hanging out by this art installation that evokes the form of a natural skyscraper.
  • When the need for high culture arises, Sassy’s been known to frequent this spot where Bob Hope once performed for grateful crowds of soldiers and their families.
  • Sassy has been spotted taking a leisurely stroll along this curvy, playful art sculpture winding through the Eucalyptus forest.
  • Everyone’s favorite cryptid has been spotted quenching his thirst at the Presidio’s largest watershed.
  • Legend has it that Sassy has been spotted gazing awestruck at this six foot wide sphere that explores what is happening beneath the surface.
  • This is the location of the start/finish of Sassy’s trail party next Sunday!
